Unlike traditional tour operators there is no need to pre-pay for your holiday. Your accommodation owner will request 30% deposit in advance but all other aspects of your holiday such as transfers, ski passes, equipment hire, lessons etc are payable when you are in Livigno.

Flight

Flights are bookable independently to Zurich or any airport in Milan (there are three airports called Milan Malpensa, Milan Bergamo which is also know as Orio al Serio and Milan Linate). Some people also choose to fly into Innsbruck. For guests from the U.K and Ireland we recommend the following websites as a good starting point. For guests from South Africa, Africa or Europe please liase with a local flight agent.

Transfer

Accommodation

The cost of accomodation is variable according to type, location and high/low season. Livigno can cater for the budget traveller with appartments/hotels which are basic but clean and tidy, to those seeking luxury in the form of beautiful 4 star hotels and chalets. Tell us what you are looking for so we can do the searching for you. We are happy to provide you with a selection of available accomodation based on your preferences and budget. We will provide you with the website address of each accomodation and a detailed description with photographs so you can make an informed decision. Ski Passes

Special season (also known as Ski Pass Free) is from 01 December until 23 December 2011 and then recommences again on 14 April 2012. During this period the ski pass office offers heavily discounted ski passes to accommodation owners and the accommodation owners we work with pass this discount directly onto our guests. Low season is from 09 January 2012 - 03 February 2012 and again from 07 – 13 April 2012. All other periods outside of special or low season are classed as high season.

Please find the ski pass prices for holidays below. Children and seniors are entitled to discounts and young children to free ski passes at any time of the season. The ski pass office will calculate if you pay low or high season rates. We will request dates of birth to ensure you benefit from any offers the ski pass office have. Ski passes are available for any number of days so please ask if you do not see the information you require.

Equipment Hire

Equipment hire prices vary from centre to centre but a good benchmark is 75 euros for adult skis, boots and poles for 6 days plus 7 euros each day thereafter or 50 euros for children skis, boots and poles (including helmets for under 14 yrs old) for 6 days plus 7 euros per day thereafter. Snowboard and boots are 98 euros for adults for 6 days plus 9 euros each day thereafter or 75 euros for children for 6 days plus 9 euros per day thereafter. We only use equipment hire centres not frequented by major tour operators to ensure a very high level of service and also well-serviced and good conditioned equipment.

Lessons & Ski Clinics

Ski and snowboard lessons are available for all abilities and Livigno is an ideal learning environment. Instruction is also available for those wishing to improve their freestyle in one of Europe's biggest snowparks.

Centrale ski school: We work with Centrale ski school which is based at the Costaccia ski area, Mottolino ski area and also in the Carosello 3000 ski area. The lessons are 2 hours per day from 11.00 - 13.00 for 6 daysfor 6 days. The cost high season is 110 euros and the cost low season is 90 euros.

For those seeking lessons in small groups then we have arranged specialised ski clinics for 4 days lessons at 2 hours per day which will be a mixture of instruction and guiding as you prefer and the instructor will be at the disposal of your group. The cost is 390 euros for 3 people, 445 euros for 4 people and 499 euros for 5 people.

A range of ski guiding for intermediate and advanced skiers, private lessons and freestyle clinics are also available upon request.

MADNESS snowboard school: Located both at the foot of Mottolino mountain and in the San Rocco area, Madness is a good option for snowboarders staying anywhere in Livigno. Beginner/Intermediate group lessons are a maximum of 7 people and advanced group lessons a maximum of 4 people.

Try to board 1 day beginner - 2 hours including instruction and equipment at 45 euro

Adult or children group lessons from 0930 until 1200 (2.5 hours) - 4 days at 105 euro (further days bookable in-resort).

Improve your style advanced afternoon lessons on slopes and in snowpark - 4 days for 1.5 hours a day at 83 euro

Freestyle advanced afternoon lessons on slopes and in snowpark - 3 days for 2 hours a day at 83 euro

Adult or children private lessons - 1 or 2 people of the same level 38 euro per hour
